The Flat Lay Workshop
Planning an intentional & impactful workshop about styling wedding day details was top of my list for 2019 workshops. It’s apart of the wedding day that is so incredibly special for me to capture & has easily become one of my favorite things to do on my client’s BIG Day. The wedding rings, a sweet letter from a great grandmother, the shoes the bride will wear as she sees her groom…It all matters!
Styling these items can be intimidating, the feeling that there isn’t enough time during a wedding day, or even stressful. My goal is to pass on my knowledge & skills to the workshop attendees the next time they arrive at a wedding so they can hit the ground running & wow their clients with gorgeous detail imagery. Knowledgable, efficiency, & confidence was gained during the day & I am so proud of each of them.
I’d like to send a big thank you to the vendors who provided items. I appreciate you guys very much!
Line Ave. Calligraphy, Clover Paper Co, & Michelle’s Consignment Boutique.

Below you can see me working during the workshop! Thank you to attendee, Jordan Rennick Photography for capturing these.
I have been asked many times, “Why I teach others what I know? Isn’t that competition for you?” My answer is always the same, “ I understand what it’s like to start from the bottom. It’s difficult to get on your feet in this industry & it’s hard to find someone that will genuinely want to see you succeed. I have been pushed away with unanswered questions so, I promised to myself I will never make someone feel that way, no matter how big I may grow. “
